## Cost Accountant (CA Inter) ### Role Overview Apollo Hospitals is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant (CA Inter) to join its finance team in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cost accounting functions, supporting financial planning processes, and ensuring accurate cost reporting in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a CA Inter-qualified professional to develop expertise in hospital cost management and financial analysis. ### Key Responsibilities - Maintain and monitor cost accounting records, including preparation of cost sheets and variance analysis - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities - Analyze departmental costs and highlight areas of cost optimization - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review - Collaborate with internal departments to collect and validate cost data - Assist in inventory valuation, stock audits, and reconciliation of accounts - Support internal and statutory audits by providing relevant cost data and documentation - Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal financial policies - Contribute to the implementation and improvement of cost control systems and processes ### Requirements / Qualifications - CA Inter qualification (both groups or at least one group cleared) - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field - Experience of 1 to 3 years in cos
