Position Title: Department Manager Department: Retail Operations Location: Across Odisha Reporting To: Store Manager Experience Required: 2 6 Years Educational Qualification: Graduation Role Purpose The Department Manager is responsible for driving departmental business performance through effective management of retail store operations, team leadership, inventory control, and customer service. The role ensures achievement of sales targets, operational excellence, and shrinkage control while delivering superior customer experience. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Retail Store Operations Management Manage day-to-day store operations ensuring smooth functioning of the department. Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards. Maintain store presentation, merchandising standards, and operational efficiency. Team Leadership & People Management Lead, motivate, and manage the department team to achieve business objectives. Conduct daily briefings, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance. Support capability building through coaching and on-the-job training. Sales Target Achievement & Revenue Growth Drive departmental sales to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Monitor sales trends and implement initiatives to maximize revenue. Promote cross-selling and upselling to improve basket value.
