As an SVP - Traded Risk at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in providing functional leadership primarily in the FRTB-IMA space and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve the goals and priorities for the Traded Risk function. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing functional leadership in the traded risk stewardship aspects, focusing on the FRTB-IMA space - Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve Traded Risk function priorities - Liaising with Group and Regional stakeholders in GRA space - Updating stakeholders on resource planning and key project progress - Showcasing and highlighting India CoE capability to stakeholders - Leading the team to develop multiple Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) - Driving meritocracy in a diverse team and exploring career development opportunities - Providing training to enhance team capability and develop thought leadership acumen - Managing administrative activities associated with the role - Working with supporting functions to address operational issues - Dealing with a globally diverse stakeholder matrix - Building connections with key people across trading hubs - Remaining updated on traded risk priorities and changes in market business - Understanding HSBC Global Risk developments and external regulatory environment Qualifications required for this role include: - Post-graduate degree (MBA, MS in Finance / other quantitative fields) with 15 years of overall experience in financial markets and risk manage
