About this role

As an experienced professional joining the GTS team in HSBC GIFT City International Banking Unit, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - **Operations Management**: - Managing end-to-end processing of export and import related payments - Owning SME receivables finance products processing, including invoice discounting, export receivables finance, cross-border factoring, and supply chain finance - Ensuring timely booking, settlement, and liquidation of receivables transactions - Monitoring aging, overdue tracking, collections, and reconciliations - **Documentation & Control (High Market Priority)**: - Reviewing and executing robust documentation including service, investment, and lending related payments - Maintaining audit-ready documentation aligned with IFSCA regulations and other standards - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining control frameworks - **Regulatory & Compliance Oversight (IFSCA Focus)**: - Serving as the operations SPOC for internal audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews - Tracking regulatory updates impacting receivables finance structures in IFSC - **Risk & Control Framework**: - Implementing and monitoring operational risk controls - Identifying process gaps, fraud risks, and settlement risks - Working closely with Credit, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams - **Stakeholder & Cross-Border Coordination**: - Liaising with Relationship Managers & Product teams - Supporting new client onboarding fro
