Education & Experience:- CA with 58 years relevant experience in DT & IDT.- Strong technical understanding of Income Tax Act, GST law, and relevant rules.- Experience in tax assessments, audits, litigation management.- Proficiency in Excel, SAP/ERP systems, and tax compliance software.Location: Gift City, GandhinagarRole Overview:The Manager Direct & Indirect Tax will be responsible for leading the organizations tax compliance, tax planning, and litigation management for both Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, stakeholder management, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.Key Responsibilities:A. Direct Tax (DT)- Ensure timely filing of Income Tax Returns, Tax Audit, and related statutory filings.- Oversee corporate tax provision, deferred tax calculations, and quarterly tax reporting.- Manage advance tax computation and payments.- Support Tax Assessments, Appeals & Litigation with consultants and legal teams.- Review contracts from a direct tax perspective to optimize tax impact.B. Indirect Tax GST, Customs and SEZ- Procedural compliance with Indirect tax laws such as filing of periodical GST returns, audit reports, replies, refunds etc.- Adept at developing effective tax planning strategies and managing all aspects of Indirect Tax compliance and advisory.- Proactively engaged in the business transactions, tax issues and other routine tax matters Liasion with the clearing agent and customs o
