Senior Manager - Service & Process Engineer

About this role

Purpose of the Role To evaluate new products/vehicles from customer perspective (service provider/ channel partner) in terms of serviceability, maintainability and repair time/cost by carrying out the physical exercise on products and provide feedback to respective stakeholders for corrections. This is to ensure trouble free operation & launch readiness for new product/vehicle within Organization Policies and statutory norms. Also to develop and evaluate new special service equipment/tools, service process and service solution etc. for field service application by performing trials in order to enhance the performance of channel partners in terms of productivity and repair quality by improvement in diagnostic capabilities, ease of vehicle repairs, ease of operations & better agronomy etc. Job Responsibility 1. New product evaluations: Perform SAM (Serviceability & maintainability), VLO (vehicle lay out), Customer Touch point evaluations of new products and aggregates at all stages and share observations/feedback with various stakeholders Identify & evaluate special tools, repair process on new products & feedback to respective stakeholders. Perform repair time study on existing & new jobs and provide inputs to respective stakeholders (System/Warranty/NPM) In order to ensure trouble free operation, ease of repair & launch readiness. 2.
