About this role

As a Commercial Settlement Manager for MRO items, your role involves ensuring efficient settlement processes and onboarding new vendor partners. Your responsibilities will include: - Commercial settlement of MRO Items with a focus on indirect spend and commodities such as Tools Machinery spares and indirect consumables. - Reviewing RFQs, analyzing requirements, negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best cost, quality, and delivery. - Exploring cost optimization opportunities through various levers. - Managing and improving turnaround time for settlements. - Adhering to vendor evaluation & rationalization processes. - Evaluating suppliers based on financial health, operational matrix, and business risk perspective. - Visualizing market dynamics, benchmarking with other OEs, and proposing optimizations. - Preparing periodic MIS for performance evaluation and complying with internal audit & statutory compliances. - Understanding purchase orders, contracts, agreements, import-related taxation, GST, and supporting Digitization journey in Indirect Purchase. - Managing and enhancing team engagement, striving for work culture improvement. Qualifications and Experience: - Education: Diploma in any Branch - Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-7 years of total work experience (preferably automobile) in MRO Buying. - Experience in Should Costing/Zero Based Costing, communication with suppliers and stakeholders, and utilizing cost reduction levers. - Strong negotiation and communication sk
