Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Ribbon SBC Engineer to support, manage, and optimize Session Border Controller infrastructure within a complex enterprise/UCC environment. The role involves L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of Ribbon (Sonus) SBC platforms to ensure high availability, security, and performance of voice services. Experiance - 3 to 8 Years Key Responsibilities Operations & Support • Provide L2/L3 support for Ribbon SBC (Sonus SBC 1000/2000/5000 series) • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity of SBC infrastructure • Handle incident management, problem management, and service requests • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for voice and signaling issues • Ensure adherence to SLA/KPI compliance Configuration & Implementation • Configure and manage: • SIP trunks, dial plans, routing policies • Transformation tables (SIP header manipulation) • TLS/SRTP configurations for secure communication • Support new deployments, migrations, and upgrades • Integrate SBC with: • Microsoft Teams (Direct Routing) • Skype for Business / Lync • CUCM / other PBX platforms
